We are currently looking for an experience Maintenance Engineer based in Andover, Hampshire to ensure adherence to maintenance schedules, minimising equipment downtime, and preserving emergency response capability.
Responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:

• Adhere to planned maintenance schedules and ensure equipment readiness for emergencies.
• Conduct fault finding, diagnosis, and investigate equipment damage post-deployment.
• Support training activities and facilitate equipment movement for non-emergency tasks.
• Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and attend off-site locations during deployments.
• Maintain rigorous health and safety standards, including risk assessments and toolbox talks.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Previous experience with plant and diesel engines, combined with on-the-job and manufacturer training.
• Minimum NVQ2 or equivalent in mechanical qualification, with on-the-job and manufacturer training.
• 18th Edition qualification preferred, ability to drive a 16-tonne FLT and possess a C PLUS E license (LGV). Experience with JCB or heavy plant/machinery is desirable.
