SalaryOur client is a very successful and established manufacturing business and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Multi-skilled Maintenance engineer.
The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive mechanical & electrical maintenance of a wide range of machinery.
Duties will include but is not limited to the following;
- Maintenance, service and repair of automated machinery including conveyors and packaging machinery
- 3-phase electrical fault find and repair control panels, motors, inverters, contactors, sensors, relays, plc's etc etc
- Mechanical fault find and repair gearboxes, shafts, bearings, pumps, valves etc etc
- Hydraulics, pneumatics
- Some basic facilities maintenance
Candidate:
We are seeking an experienced electrical Maintenance Engineer with good mechanical fault find and repair skills.
Yopu will have a recognised electrical engineering qualification e.g NVQ 3, 18th edition and you will have previous experience in a manufacturing Maintenance Engineer role.
You will have excellent mechanical and electrical fault find and repair skills and ideally you will have good plc skills inputs/outputs, fault find and repair.
You will have good knowledge and understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics and ideally you will have previous experience in maintenance and repair of packaging machinery.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday 40Hours (Flexible)
