Job role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Enginner (Electrical bias)
Location: Heanor, Derbyshire
Sky Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our established client in Heanor for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. Your purpose is to provide engineering activities to enable the factory to meet production objectives.
Maintenance Engineer Salary:
Salary is £44,520, overtime paid at x1.5ph
Shift times:
4 on 4 off, 2 days, 2 nights (6-6)
Maintenance Duties:
· Carry out efficient and good quality repairs to production equipment in order to meet production demands.
· Maintain a good working relationship with work colleagues to work safely and maximise efficiency
· Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules as instructed.
· Undergo engineering projects as instructed and improve machine efficiency.
· Carry out and accurately record checks and information as required on plant and ancillary machinery.
Training and Development:
- Be open to all training offered and identify areas for personal development.
- Be willing to learn and gain experience of working on all machinery/plant in the production departments.
Required Skills for a Maintenance Engineer:
- Formal apprenticeship/Electrical qualification
- Experience of working within a manufacturing environment
- Experience of H&S issues within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge and experience of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC and Inverter controls, motors and drives.
- The ability to work unsupervised and be able to use own initiative
- The ability to handle multiple priorities to ensure deadlines/objectives are met
- The ability to form excellent working relationships at all levels
