Workchain is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established company in Haverhill. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of machinery and equipment within the Technical industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment

- Be able to assemble and wire 30/415- volt swtichgear panels from drawings wiring schematics and also have the ability to complete this without drawings

-Strong knowledge of cable preparations, crimping, termination and testing of electrical panels from 1.5mm up to 400 single core cable

-ECS is not essential

-All tools are provided and bespoke product training will be given.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

- Performing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and implementing solutions
- Collaborating with team members to achieve maintenance goals
Qualifications required:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a similar role
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities

Shift Pattern - 

Monday - Friday - 0800 - 1700
