They are now looking for a passionate and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Location: Coventry.

The Role: As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our client’s state-of-the-art production facilities. You will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of both mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal operational performance. This role demands a high level of expertise in understanding complex machinery and systems integral to the manufacturing of electric vehicle components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical systems and mechanical components.
• Ensure all machinery is in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and improve productivity.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance machinery efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and provide technical reports.

What We Require:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within the engineering or manufacturing sector, ideally with exposure to automated and high-speed production environments.
• A strong foundation in both mechanical and electrical systems, with relevant certifications or qualifications.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to work under pressure.
• A commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing work schedules as needed.
