PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
We are looking formotivated, customer-focused people who want to join our team as aReliability Maintenance Engineering Technician. The focus of theReliability Maintenance Engineering Technician role is to ensuresafety regulations and policies are adhered to, to ensurepreventative maintenance is conducted on time to a high standardand to provide high levels of equipment availability throughcontinuous improvement.
Shift Pattern: Thisrole includes working in non-traditional shift pattern, which mayinclude nights and weekends.
Keyjob responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Puthealth & safety best practices first in all work carried outensuring compliance with all health & safety standards andregulations.
· Carry out planned preventativemaintenance on the full range of equipment within thesite.
· React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearlywith affected parties and work efficiently to fix theissue.
· Support continuous improvement by learning frombreakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvementsthrough the line manager.
· Provide high levels ofequipment availability to our internal customers.
·Support and learn from Senior Reliability EngineeringTechnicians.
· Management of contractors.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS• Served afull engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to aminimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent (must hold Level 3qualification with satisfactory Guided Learning Hours). Please beprepared to provide proof of qualifications obtained as part ofAmazon’s Terms of Employment.

• Multi skilledin both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
•Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
•Experience fault finding within MHE (Material HandlingEquipment)/Automation systems.
• Experience ininterpreting both mechanical and electrical drawings.
•Experience of conveyor maintenance, motorcontrollers/inverters.
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS - Experience of high voltageswitching.
- Experience of sortationmachines.
- Experience of maintaining/configuring barcode scanners.
- Experience of print and applymachines.
