Description
- Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.
- Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
- Maintain all machinery and ensure its efficiency and safety.
- Create and implement maintenance procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
- Check electrical and hydraulic systems for functionality.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Lead should have:
- An educational background in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the manufacturing process within the FMCG industry.
- Excellent knowledge of the functionality of machinery and equipment used in an FMCG setting.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a managerial/lead position.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
