SalaryThe Recruitment Co have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to work with a market leading manufacturer in Barnsley. As a Maintenance Manager you will be working within a modern manufacturing facility maintaining production levels, and the operation of additional on-site facilities. You will have full responsibility for the management of a team of Engineers, Ancillary staff and Subcontractors based across both sites, operating over a 7 day, 4 shift rotational pattern.
Flexible Hours, Salary £45,000 - £50,000 per annum + Car + Bonus
Your Key responsibilities as a Maintenance Manager:
- Production plant and equipment maintenance.
- Property maintenance.
- Completing PPM's and creating breakdown solutions.
- Maintaining electrical plant maintenance records.
- Recruitment of new staff.
- Analysis of past and present performance data to prepare annual budgets
- Development of new staff
- Weekly KPI reports.
What the ideal Maintenance Manager looks like:
- An experienced Multi-skilled Engineer, with at least 2 years management experience.
- A successful track record of working within a manufacturing / maintenance environment ideally within woodworking/FMCG/Packaging.
- Experience of working with suppliers, subcontractors and statutory authorities.
- A flexible approach to working hours as shifts work may be necessary.
- Educated to HNC / Degree Level ideally in Engineering.
