The Role
As our Maintenance / Facilities Manager you will be responsible to provide a safe and efficient working and living environment, which is essential to the performance of the village and the lifestyle of our owners. Our owner’s quality of life and care depend upon the safe and exceptional standard of the facilities we provide, as well as the facilities within their home.
You will be responsible for providing first-class facilities for owners, a first-class village environment for all users, and building an exceptional team of maintenance operatives, ensuring that they and their work are meeting the standards required by the owners on our sites and the business.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualification within health and safety working practices – NEBOSH, IOSH preferably.
- SSSTS certificate preferably.
- Maintenance planning and project management.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety working practices, COSHH, RIDDOR, etc.
- Good all-round technical knowledge of general trades and labour.
- Experience in managing budgets and controlling costs.
- Experience of leading / managing a small team.
- Pool plant operator’s license.
- Problem solving skills.
- Warm, professional and empathetic.
