Salary: 37,000 - 38,000 pro-rata
Location: Home-based
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time (4 days per week)

Young Epilepsy stand up for children and young people with epilepsy. They campaign for children's rights. They provide innovative tools, information, and practical support for living everyday life. They also coordinate world renowned research into the causes and treatments of epilepsy and deliver world class health services.
The role
The Major Donor Relationship Manager will be responsible for supporting and implementing a successful programme of Major Donor fundraising and engagement to reach an agreed annual target. This will include securing Major Donor & Mid Value support for all areas of our work.
Key responsibilities include:
To approach, qualify, and cultivate potential high-value donors, engaging them with Young Epilepsy's purpose and strategyTo convert those prospects at a giving level of 5K - 100K, working across their fundraising portfolio to link the donor with the right project or focus for their giving.To produce compelling and engaging proposals - in person, over video calls, and in writing.To provide outstanding stewardship to all donors: working with senior leadership and operational staff to offer unique thanking opportunities.To work closely with internal stakeholders to identify new prospective donors and to build cultivation plans for those relationships.
Ideally we are looking for candidates with proven success of fundraising with high-net-worth individuals within a third sector organisation, experience in personal relationship management and 121 stewardship of individuals and recent experience of working in a target driven environment.
