About this Role:

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance Team based in our Head Office in Salisbury. This Management Accountant role is an all-round position being responsible for the day-to-day accounting of a newly acquired UK company.

Main Duties and Objectives:

• Sole responsibility for the day-to-day transactions.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, to feed into group reporting.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Month end Journals.
• Purchase Ledger (statement rec’s, invoice coding & posting, payment allocation etc).
• Sales ledger (raising sales invoices, debtor chasing, cash allocation).
• Treasury.
• Payroll (high level review only).
• Interim (November) and annual audit, point of contact with external auditors (KPMG).
• Liaising with other depts within the group.
• Potentially to move from Xero accounting to Sage 50 (alignment with FPS Group).

Essential Skills:

• Xero is a must (Sage 50 experience preferred but not essential).
• Part qualified/finalist/qualified by experience.
• Track record in a similar position.
• Be able to hit the ground running.
• Team player, but also can work to own initiative.
