Management Accountant

iMultiply are working in partnership with a well-known Edinburgh based business to recruit an Interim Management Accountant for a minimum of a 6 month period.

The Role

The role of Management Accountant will support the Financial Controller with Month end Management Accounts and the gathering of key information to support the audit.. The successful candidate will have strong Management Accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparation Management Accounts
• Ownership of month end close and reporting for your allocated area of the business
• Liaise with external auditors
• Provide management accounting advice to members of the finance team and the wider business
• Analyse accounting systems used to look for inaccuracies and potential improvements
• Ad-hoc project work

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

• Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA) strong qualified by experience candidates will be considered
• Proactive self-starter with proven ability to problem solve complex issues.
• Must have sound knowledge and expertise with core IT packages including advanced use of excel
• Excellent communicator and strong team player
