Management Accountant

Your new company Our public sector client is looking to recruit a Management Accountant for a hybrid role in Crawley. Your new role You will be responsible for assisting in providing financial support to the senior finance team and budget holders to achieve financial control and effective budget management. Ensuring accurate and timely monthly management accounting information is produced and clearly reported, with the key income and expenditure variances analysed. Preparation of clear journal entries and workings which fully explain the reason for the journal. Provide the appropriate information in the annual statutory reporting process in compliance with the timetable, regulations and accounting standards and ensuring the completeness and accuracy of inputs. Support budget managers in identifying financial trends & KPIs. Develop, implement and monitor solutions to address adverse variances. What you\'ll need to succeed You will ideally be a qualified or part-qualified Accountant with strong management accounts experience along with good Excel skills. You will have working knowledge of budgeting and forecasting and be a competent communicator. What you\'ll get in return This is a hybrid role, mainly working from home with their offices based in Crawley, salary £36,000 - £42,600, plus an enhanced generous pension, study support if you are still studying, 27 days holiday plus bank holidays.
