Management Accountant

Management Accountant vacancy with an acquisitive company based in Elland to support the group finance function. The business is profitable and long established, they are also in the process of implementing a new ERP system and the appointed candidate will get exposure to this project.
The role may suit a move from industry or a first move from practice and the post will develop into a business partner role.
Key duties include;

• Produce detailed monthly management accounts with commentary
• Provide budget comparisons and profit reconciliation
• VAT returns
• Prepare inter-company recharges
• Statutory accounts preparation & manage audit queries
• Implement and monitor financial controls where necessary
• Ad-hoc analysis projects and reporting
