Randstad are currently working in collaboration with a rapidly expanding music business in City of London. This busy, successful and expanding business are seeking a dynamic, accounts focused, organised and autonomous Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis to support the smooth running of a busy department.

Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant includes:

• Gather and analyse financial information and data for internal use.
• Support budgeting and reporting.
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Efficiently process financial transactions, journal entries, and general ledger entries.
• Ensure that records and reports are compliance with accounting procedures and processes.
• Evaluate the company's performance using key data.
• In put into forecasts to assist business planning and strategy.
• Conduct risk and costs assessment and advise on ways to maximise company performance.
• Advise on process challenges and suggest improvements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior bookkeeping staff.

You will have:

• Proven experience as management accountant, accounting supervisor or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices.
• Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting.
• Excellent knowledge or risk analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Working knowledge of financial software including Excel and Xero.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A problem-solver with attention to detail.
• Organisational and leadership skills.
• Relevant experience and qualifications preferred.
