Management Accountant – Hotel Group

Role:                       Management Accountant

Location:               NorthLondon (Office based)

Salary:                   Up to £50,000

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage group treasury, development finance, and daily reporting.
• Monitor daily bank balances and transactions.
• Handle daily intercompany transfers and payments.
• Produce monthly consolidated accounts adhering to company policy.
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Analyse fortnightly and monthly payroll, as well as supplier payments.
• Submit quarterly VAT reports.
• Maintain company statutory records and complete annual confirmation statements.
• Conduct internal audits in UK hotels.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reviews.
• Coordinate audit deliverables timelines and ensure adherence.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with the Group Finance Manager on internal audit routines and procedures.

The successful candidate:

• Experience in a Hotel environment as an accountant is essential.
• Qualified Accountant or equivalent (e.g.
  CIMA, ACA, ACCA, AAT), Part Qualified Accountants will also be taken into consideration.
• Advanced Excel knowledge with exposure to Pivot Tables and Complex Formulas.
• The ability to work well under pressure and use your initiative to problem-solve.
• Strong communication & relationship building skills.
