Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire our client is looking for a Management Accountant to join their successful team on a permanent and hybrid-working basis, being based in the office 4 days a week and 1 from home.
This job would suit an ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or strong QBE accountant with experience in a similar role, to be responsible for producing management accounts in accordance with group policies and procedures.

The successful individual will have experience working in a similar Management Accountant role, lead a team of 3 (Transactional), dealing with month end reporting ideally within a larger business and working to tight timescales. They will have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work, be self-motivated and able to work on own initiative. Advanced use of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and practical knowledge of Word, Outlook and Sage accounting software is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary
- Production of balance sheet and review of all balance sheet reconciliations.
- Treasury function - management bank accounts
- Revenue analysis on a monthly basis
- Collaboration with other departments to ensure financial goals met
- Support on other ad-hoc finance projects
- Management and development of AP/AR team
- Assisting in year end audits
- Supporting forecasting & budgeting
- Assist in development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
