Management Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with an established and fast growing manufacturing business in Sheffield that is part of a group of companies. They have a turnover of around £6 Million per annum, serve a global customer base and operate a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility  and have ambitious growth plans. 
Due to a recent acquisition and new ownership structure, they have a brand new role created for Management Accountant to join them. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant to make the role their own. You will be responsible for reviewing current processes, reporting and systems and driving process improvement and efficiencies to set the standard for success moving forward.
It will be a varied role with duties to include: - 

• Monthly Management Accounts Production
• Financial reporting and variance analysis 
• Reviewing and maintaining the cashbook
• Cashflow reporting 
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Full management of accounts payable and receivable, dealing with incoming queries 
• Completing payment runs and chasing outstanding debtors 
• Payroll processing  

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills: - 

• CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified/ Part Qualified (Qualified by Experience will also be considered) 
• Manufacturing sector experience would be desirable but not essential 
• Self starter and able to work on own initiative 
• Good attention to detail 

The company offers flexible working in terms of hours and offer an early finish on a Friday (12pm). They also offer hybrid working (1 or 2 days WFH).
