Management Accountant

A Management Accountant position in the Professional Services industry is open for a candidate with a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers. This role, based in Reading, will require exceptional accounting and finance skills, with the ability to manage and analyse financial information.

Description

• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Performing variance analysis and providing commentary on results.
• Assisting in the annual audit process.
• Contributing to the development of financial systems and processes.
• Assisting in the preparation of VAT and Corporation Tax returns.
• Supporting the wider Finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

- Bachelor's degree

- CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.

- Knowledge of SQL code and databases, and reporting from them via excel / Power BI, with a general interest in data.

- Current knowledge of FRS102 reporting (or IFRS).

- Experience preparing monthly management accounts.
