Our client, a thriving manufacturing and distribution business in Leicester, is actively seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, the chosen candidate will play a crucial role in:
* Lead production and analysis of management accounts, ensuring financial insight.
* Supervise a compact team for efficient collaboration and productivity.
* Conduct meticulous control account and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Manage accruals, prepayments, and enhance inventory controls.
* Oversee fixed assets register and maintain precise general ledger.
* Handle VAT returns with accuracy and compliance.
* Assist in month-end completion and contribute to ad-hoc reporting.
The correct candidate:
* A part qualified or qualified ACCA,ACA or CIMA
* Experience of import and export ideal but not crucial
* Confident at presenting financial information to senior management confidently.
* Adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced accounting team environment within a large organization.
