Form of workOur client, a leading business in their field is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis where you will work with the senior management team advising on the finances of the firm, whilst being involved in other decisions across the broader business to enhance business performance and grow profit.
The ideal candidate will be a fully-qualified Accountant - ACCA / ACA / CIMA - with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Management Accountant role, where you are used to working both independently and as part of a senior team within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing the finance team
- Budget and forecast preparation
- Monitor and manage cash flows
- Prepare monthly management accounts and present to the business owners / senior management
- Oversee and prepare monthly payroll
- Be to the go-to for communication with external Accountants and Bank Managers
Key Experience:
- Fully-Qualified Accountant - ACCA / ACA/ CIMA
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Management Accountant
- Confident and able to work both independently and as part of a Senior Management team
- Ability to liaise with colleagues and clients of all levels
- Accounting software experience - Xero is advantageous although not essential
