Description
Key Responsibilities for the Management Accountant:
- Oversee the financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the senior management team
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Facilitate the audit process and liaise with external auditors
- Develop and manage financial systems and processes
- Lead and mentor the finance team
- Actively participate in strategic planning and decision-making
- Represent the company in financial meetings and forums
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in finance, accounting or a related field
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or similar
- Proven experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector
- Strong financial and accounting skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
