Description

Key Responsibilities for the Management Accountant:

• Oversee the financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the senior management team
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Facilitate the audit process and liaise with external auditors
• Develop and manage financial systems and processes
• Lead and mentor the finance team
• Actively participate in strategic planning and decision-making
• Represent the company in financial meetings and forums

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A degree in finance, accounting or a related field
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or similar
• Proven experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector
• Strong financial and accounting skills
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
