Management Accountant / Finance Manager

My client is a highly successful group, who manage some of the world’s largest leisure and hospitality brands as well as hotels and gyms and property investments.

The business is constantly expanding and evaluating new business opportunities. To maintain their track record of growth they are seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Management Accountant to join their team and act as a support to the Head of Finance in day to day-to-day matters to ensure accuracy of the monthly and yearly accounts, as well assisting with overseeing the accounts team.

Duties to include: -

• Preparation of Management Accounts
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets for company entities
• Assist with the Groups statutory taxation obligations including Income Tax,PAYE, and VAT
• Support to the Head of Finance analysing financial performance and contributing to business planning, cash flow and forecasting
• Production of balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure finance ledgers are maintained on a timely basis
• Liaise with 3rd party Auditors, Accountants and Tax Advisors
• Partner with the Operations team to lead the business to success, driving exceptional customer service in all assets and identifying efficiencies across the Group

The ideal candidate: -

• Be an experienced and qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Experience or exposure to working in accounts in a Hospitality / Retail environment
• Highly analytical
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent Excel skills
• Knowledge of Sage 200 would be advantageous

The company office is based in Wembley within a short walk of the Station

Salary £45-55k per annum depending on experience

Hours - Monday - Friday 9 am to 6 pm
