You\'ll be working for a growing SME manufacturing company in Swindon.
Your new role
This is a pro-active 'hands on' position, performing a variety of financial and administrative duties across a number of inter-related businesses. Working closely with the Finance Manager on key activities such as:
- Responsible for maintaining the Fixed Assets Register
- Carry out core finance processes, including but not limited to the calculation of depreciation and interest, preparation of accrued and deferred income and expenses, posting journals, intercompany accounts and reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns.
- Prepare management accounts
- Produce ad-hoc reports to support business projects and initiatives
- Develop finance processes
What you\'ll need to succeed
- You\'ll need to be a self-starter, someone that can come in and hit the ground running.
- Experience of working collaboratively within an SME organisation
- Manufacturing experience would be desirable.
- Part Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA, or QBE, with good technical knowledge and minimum 4 years' experience.
