Management Accountant Part-Qualified

We are working with an international FMCG client who are looking for a Financial Accountant to come into a key market. This is very much a commercially orientated role, where stakeholder relationships are a priority. This role will report directly to the Regional Finance Manager. Hence, the team is after a candidate with a strong track record of delivering comprehensive and insightful financial analyses, encompassing planning and forecasting.

Responsibilities:

• Serving as a business partner to cost centre managers on-site, offering support in overheads management and mentoring on financial matters.
• Managing the completion of the site's budget and monthly forecasting processes.
• Taking ownership of standard product costing, providing financial support for the development of new products.
• Collaborating with project leads on capital reporting, forecasting, business cases, and overseeing monthly site projects meetings.
• Formulating decisions, plans, and strategies based on solid commercial and financial principles.
• Reviewing and reporting performance against established budgets and forecasts, driving the creation of essential action plans to achieve objectives.
• Ensuring adherence to statutory and group accounting procedures, identifying areas of concern and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
• Analyse prime and overhead performance, along with conducting month-end reporting for the site.
• Maintaining robust financial control by overseeing the site asset register, ensuring timely capitalisation, disposal, and asset verification.
• Conducting periodic reviews of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supervising and supporting the offshore team, including training and serving as the initial point of contact.

About You:

• Expertise in cost analysis within the FMCG/manufacturing sector
• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex financial analyses for easy comprehension in FMCG/manufacturing contexts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Currently holding or pursuing a recognised professional qualification such as CIMA/ACA/ACCA, or possessing substantial experience in a finance role
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, facilitating clear understanding of financial analyses
• Capacity to plan effectively and work independently

This role is based in West London and can be a hybrid 3-days a week. Salary at up to £48k + Benefits and Bonus. This role unfortunately does not offer sponsorship.
