Form of workElevation Senior Finance are delighted to bring to market a Management Accountant job opportunity to work for the head office function of an international manfacturing business in Sheffield. With hybrid working you will only need to go into the office two days each week.
You will be reporting into the Finance Business Partner, and the main purpose of the role will be to produce & provide management with accurate timely financial data related to business financial performance.
Responsibilities will include:
- Producing weekly 13 week short term cash flow forecasts on a US entity
- Manage US month end closing process on time & in full to include reporting, accruals and reconciliations
- Responsible for payment process to include setup of payment instructions in bankline systems
- Supporting subsidiaries and corporate entities in reporting & technical issues. Monitoring, reviewing & clearing of subsidiary validations
- Monthly and quarterly recharges between HQ and other business entities in the group
- Involvement & correction accounting for US employee related compensation areas such as 401k true up, pension accounting, workers compensation insurance and audit, medical insurance
- Ad Hoc projects as required both on UK and US business
- Identifying, creating, and implementing solutions to enhance financial reporting
- Support with year-end audits
- Other relevant tasks as required by the Finance Business Partner
