SalaryLHH are working with an industry-leading advisory firm, which is seeking a talented and experienced Management Accountant to join their collaborative finance team.
This role is a 12-month FTC to cover Maternity, so If you have a passion for finance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive business performance, this is an excellent opportunity for you to take the next step in your career.
Key Responsibilities for your Management Accountant role:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance to accounting standards.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing valuable insights and analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure their financial understanding, to provide financial support and assist in their strategic decision-making.
- Conduct cost and trends analysis, identifying areas for improvement
- Prepare annual budgets, quarterly reports, and statutory financial statements.
- Maintain and develop financial models to support business planning and drive profitability.
Key skills required for this Management Accountant role:
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant
- Qualified Accountant with CIMA, ACA, or ICAEW certification.
- Strong knowledge of management accounting principles and practises.
- Proficient in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Excellent Excel skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
- A Clear communicator with the ability to interact at all levels.
- Experience in professional services or the advisory industry would be beneficial
