Job Title: Management Accountant
Salary: £40k - £50k DOE + Discretionary Bonus
Location: SW London

Summary

We are representing one of the UKs leading Serviced Apartments Provider and Manager. Based in SW London, with apartments across the UK, Europe and S America, they are a small, but high performing team.

They are now looking to bring in a Management Accountant, who will be responsible for a range duties and have an excellent opportunity to develop and grow into an FC position. They will be responsible for Budgeting and Forecasting and assisting on Credit Control and AP when needed.

Main Duties:

• Producing accurate management accounts including variance analysis for multiple business units.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Intercompany recharges
• Maintaining all intercompany accounts reconciliations
• Month End - Reconcile supplier ledgers and posting manual journals, example prepayment, accruals,
• payroll, and correction journals.
• Income statements - Prepare monthly income statements for Managing agents/ landlord based on the contract and arrange rent payments as per leases.
• Manage credit cards
• Assist in the weekly cashflow analysis
• Analyse revenue and cost from various cost centres and consolidate the results
• Gathering and analysing trends within the company on a property by property basis
• Providing and interpreting financial information from the reports
• Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
• Assisting with budgets / reforecasting
• Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
• Supporting the financial controller/Director on ad hoc projects
• Providing audit project support
• Providing advice to both Credit Control and Accounts Payable as and when the demand requires it.

Essential Requirements

• Proven track record in Management Accounts preparation and analysis including income / expenditure and market performance
• Excellent communicator in both spoken and written English
• Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy
• Professional approach with proven ability to demonstrate Integrity
• Studying towards an appropriate Accountancy Qualification
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Ability to work to very strict deadlines under pressure
• Excellent IT knowledge specifically of MS packages
• Ability to understand and explain financial matters clearly and concisely, demonstrating a clear understanding of P&L / balance sheet and accounting principles.
• Sound organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

Systems Knowledge - desirable

• Xero Accountancy software
• Oscar PMS system knowledge
• Resharmonics PMS System knowledge
