Our client, a large Chartered Accountancy based in Watford, has an opening for a Marketing Assistant to cover maternity for a 12 month contract. After training the role will become hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 working from home.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager duties will include:-
Event administration including:Posting details of events on website
- Creating and sending invitations using email marketing platform or EventBright
- Collating responses
- Organising attendee name badges and event materials
- Liaising with venues and speakers
- Setting up rooms and ordering catering for in-person events
- Setting up and distributing online event facilities on Zoom or Teams for online events.
- Sending and collating post event feedback
- Booking places for our fee earners on external networking and marketing events and seminars
- Booking stands and liaising with Expo organisers for trade shows and business expos
Ordering stock
- Keeping check on stock levels of branded goods and reordering where needed
- Sourcing sustainable promotional items for forthcoming events
- Printing refills of brochures and flyers when needed
- Ordering gifts and cards for clients
- Ordering shopping vouchers for staff competitions and commission schemes
- Ordering business cards for new staff or newly promoted staff
- Ordering replacement letterhead and comp slips when stock are running low
- Ordering name badges for staff and branded lanyards
Updating marketing material
- Updating and publishing Tax Rates on Canva each year when new tax rates are announced
- Creating our Autumn Statement and Budget Summary pdfs in our branded word templates from text.
Other admin
- Fielding inbound enquiries from the website enquiry form and main marketing inbox
- Booking photographer to take staff headshots and co-ordinating with staff
- Mail merges of letters to prospects in word and email
- Updating surveys with new dates or updated questions on our online survey tool Formsite
- Collating receipts for marketing expenses and matching with credit card statement and submitting to finance team.
- Dealing with in-bound enquiries to the marketing team
- Using spreadsheets to manipulate and present data and lists
To be considered for this role candidates ideally will have some marketing experience or have a Marketing degree.
