In the early stages of your career being in a business that recognises and rewards your effort is priceless. This requires two things; a business with the team size and structure to support growth and the leadership to identify your potential. This role and company can offer both. In fact, the last two members of this team have been promoted to Manager roles within 18 months.
To make yourself the third in a row you'll need to join the business with existing experience in marketing within the professional services market. This isn't a business development role disguised as marketing - bids, proposals and BD are the responsibility of another team. You get to focus your efforts on the skills you hopefully love - marketing, content and events.
You'll work closely with internal stakeholders across multiple product lines and markets to create marketing campaigns that drive engagement, awareness and recognition. One day you could be briefing a social content plan, the next supporting on the production of a video campaign for email distribution and following it up with co-ordinating a webinar, podcast or in-person event. You'll get variety in abundance and will need the organisational skills to multi-task and manage projects simultaneously.
About You:
- Experienced within a marketing position in a professional services business (legal, accountancy, tech, real estate or similar).
- Highly organised and competent stakeholder manager.
- Experience in digital and / or in person event co-ordination.
- Understanding of a range of different content channels including web, social, video, podcasts and newsletters.
- Attention to detail and an enjoyment in writing, editing and reviewing content.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Working with internal contacts to deliver marketing plans and strategies for multiple markets and service offerings.
- Briefing team members for the creation of social media activity, communications content, design work and events requirements.
- Supporting the co-ordination and planning of online and in person events.
- Overseeing the production of content across multiple channels.
Where You'll Be Based:
Ideally you'll be able to get into the Manchester City Centre office at least twice a week. If not, you could do the same from the Leeds office whilst visiting Manchester on a frequent basis. You'll definitely need to be based in the North West or Yorkshire such as Manchester, Cheshire, Huddersfield, Halifax or Leeds.
