Job Title:Marketing Manager from Built Environment Sector (eg Candidate must come from Real Estate, Architecture, Law Firm with property clients, construction)

Role Overview: Marketing Manager or a 12-month maternity contract,reporting to the Managing Director, UK and Senior Director of Marketing, UK & Europe. Part of a small but expanding hands-on team working on projects across UK and Europe.
Salary: £50-60k (experience dependent)
Responsibilities:
Marketing & Communications:
- Support the Senior Director of Marketing in implementing the Marketing & Communications Strategy for individual clients or projects where necessary
- Support the Senior Director of Marketing in continuing to drive the integration forward and work collaboratively with their teams
- Work closely with clients and consultants to ensure positive working relationships and a co-ordinated approach to Marketing & Communications
- Feed into Marketing budget alongside Senior Director of Marketing and Finance team
- Oversee creation of all marketing materials
- Oversee creation of press releases/news stories for print and online media and website
- Commission photography
- Manage external agencies (PR, creative, digital etc.)
- Manage relationships with industry bodies, corporate charity partners and stakeholder groups
- Coordination and management of our Thought Leadership pieces such as our Market Update
Bids:
- Working alongside Marketing Executive
- Analyse the tender document/technical staff brief to understand the needs of the client
- Planbid preparation & liaise with technical team to agree roles and responsibilities to ensure that deadlines are met
- Where necessary, prepare case studies, edit or rewrite previous tenders to reuse relevant material
- Collate materials provided by various departments and ensuring a uniform tone across the overall document
- Ensure that the bid is accurate and delivered on time.
- Assess chances and review feedback on viable bids alongside Marketing & Bid Executive
Events and Exhibitions:
- Manage all internal and external events
- Manage all approaches for sponsorship and inclusion in exhibitions/events
- Work alongside the Directors / Account directors to establish the right team for event attendance
- Coordinate presence at industry events, ensuring return on investment from sponsorships, conferences and initiatives.
- Oversee calendar of events and conferences and identify which should be attended
Awards:
- Consider submissions for Awards and assess chances of being shortlisted/winning
- Develop awards submissionsalongside Marketing Executive
Website and Social Media
- Work with the US team to ensure the UK/EMEA is well represented on the global website
- Consider possible angles for content for news pieces to help drive suitable traffic to the website
- Work alongside Marketing Executive to maintain a presence on social media sites such as LinkedIn
Internal Communications:
- Oversee all internal communications activity
- Weekly newsletter
- Briefings
- Events
Team Management:
- Act as first point of contact for Marketing Executive
- Team co-ordination
- Report to Directors meeting monthly
Person Specification/Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, combining creativity and strategic thinking, with attention to detail
- Minimum five years’ experience in a marketing role within the built environment sector
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
- A good understanding of brand, communications and business development
- Strong writing and copywriting experience
- Strong Microsoft Suite skills, including creating Word, Excel and PowerPoint templates
- A positive can-do attitude, able to work independently and as a team
- Strong InDesign and Photoshop skills
- Experience in social media management or digital marketing
- Knowledge of CRM systems - particularly Microsoft Dynamics
