So Energy

Who we are

So Energy was created in 2015 because we knew energy suppliers could be better. Since then, we’ve grown rapidly but sustainably, with 300,000+ customers and over 500 So Energists. But, we’re not done. We’re on the road to a million customers and, thanks to our recent merger with ESB Energy, we’re well on the way. We’re tech first, we’re customer-centric and we’re passionate about sustainability.

We want to do the best we can for our customers and for each other, so we’ve created a workplace that is encouraging, and supportive and offers the opportunity for growth. As a company, we live by six core values that guide everything we do:

  • Clear
  • Honest
  • Ambitious
  • Inquisitive
  • Caring
  • Sustainable

As Marketing Director, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing our brand, marketing and sales strategies. • Brand management and refining the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Develop and execute brand awareness campaigns to build a strong and positive reputation.
  • Deploy customer insights, competitor and market analysis to support the development and implementation of sales plans to differentiate So Energy in a competitive market
  • Oversee brand creative development, including advertising, PR, and digital assets.
  • Leverage data and analytics and make data-driven decisions to ensure that all activity is optimised, fully tracked, and measurable.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners and agencies.
