SalaryWe're now working closely with an international company based in Hemel Hempstead to help them find a Marketing Executive to cover a member of the team due to go on maternity leave for a 12 month period, this will be a Full-Time FTC for 12 months.
This would be fantastic experience working with a tech company for a year, covering a broad range of marketing areas and working with their international office, even offering the chance to travel internationally if you wanted!
In the role of Marketing Executive, you'd be focussed on working with their international marketing team, marketing agencies and covering a broad range of areas from working on campaigns, social media, organising trade shows/events and more.
This is very much a full time position on a hybrid basis, working 4 days a week in Hemel Hempstead and 1 day a week WFH, standard hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm but they are flexible if anyone would rather an 8am or 9am start for example.
The company would be open to someone at Marketing Exec level and previous experience, but equally would be open to someone looking at a career change with some experience freelancing/volunteering or even a graduate looking to get into a marketing role.
On offer is a salary of £25k to £30k, very much dependant on the level of experience.
Ideally, we're looking for someone that could start a new role at the beginning of August or around then, but can be flexible on this.
Some of the duties will include:
- To promote the company's product range, executing a clear and concise marketing plan
- To create leads for the sales team using a variety of mediums including email campaigns, blogs, news articles, trade shows and publications
- To raise brand awareness
- To be the point of contact for marketing suppliers and manage the marketing budget
- To propose updates to our company websites to our dedicated web team and manage search engine optimisation and adwords in accordance with policies in conjunction with our web agency
- To work with our distributors to ensure they are also promoting our products effectively.
- To identify and organise tradeshows
- To create opportunities from our existing customers
- To write case studies
- To provide detailed reporting on activity on a monthly basis
The suitable candidate:
- Education, experience and any experience within marketing would be hugely beneficial
- Written language skills are extremely important in this role and will be tested as part of the interview process
- A high level of organisation is needed, there will be a lot of projects and tasks to multitask in this role
- Good level of IT skills and the ability to pick new ones up quickly
