We have a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join the team based at Cheltenham Racecourse leading on the on-course Customer Experience planning and delivery including raceday theming, live music, brand touch points, activation zones and customers communications, ensuring racegoers have all the information to make the most of their day.

The Marketing Executive - Customer Experience will
• Plan and deliver the Customer Experience programme and owned media customer communications to drive general admission sales and overall Customer Experience.
• Be a key member of the Group Marketing team ensuring all owned media channels (app, website, CRM, social) are up to date and optimised with the latest raceday information
• Work cross functionally with the local Cheltenham based teams (operations, ticketing, partnerships, memberships, finance, and corporate affairs)
• Plan, programme, contract, brief and oversee the raceday entertainment programme managing multiple performance areas across site, with responsibility for collating Health and Safety documentation and organising everything from backline to accreditation.
• Take on specific projects to evolve and improve the Customer Experience such as Parade Ring Entertainment for Countryside Day and the delivery of the family fun zone.
• Project manage and develop the Junior Jumper programme, expanding membership and enhancing the members experience on and off the track.
• Project manage the McCoy Awards, The Jockey Club’s Annual Jump Awards hosted at Cheltenham Racecourse bringing together the core elements including AV, Graphics, Content, Catering and Branding to deliver a first-class experience for guests.
• Brief ad hoc creative assets as required by other Cheltenham departments and the Marketing team into the in-house creative studio, liaising with print suppliers to ensure collateral is delivered on time and budget to stakeholders, always keeping the target audience and sales targets in mind.
• Keep all on racecourse branding points up to date with the latest winners and information.
• Ensure the website is kept up to date with the latest Customer Experience offerings and all information for racegoers to plan their day including the raceday map & spectator guides.
• Create and gather content for social media that updates new and existing fans with key raceday information and highlights Customer Experience offered at our racedays.
About you
• Collaborative and positive team player with excellent relationship building skills.
• Proactive and able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail
• Operationally minded and calm under pressure
• Experience in a previous Marketing Events Based Role - either agency side or in-house.
• Confident using social media channels.
• Comfortable writing customer facing copy.
• Experienced using a content management system for web.
• Experienced in managing suppliers safely and overseeing branding production and installation.
