As an engineering-based company who has not previously had a marketing department, this is a Golden opportunity to apply your own marketing prowess and philosophy and be part of a pioneering operation.
The role will include:
• Exclusively promoting the company’s products and services to obtain global sales.
• Create engaging on brand marketing materials and post on the company’s website and social media pages.
• Preparing and delivery of a monthly Marketing Strategy Plan
• Maintaining the CRM system
The Ideal candidate will:
• Be enthusiastic about contributing ideas and confidently presenting them
• Come from an engineering background, ideally with some electronics experience
• Have confidence to contact potential and existing customers
• Thrive in managing your own schedule – being well organised and meticulous
• Be able to work collaboratively as well as independently
• Have strong communication and customer service skills
• Be naturally inquisitive and not afraid to ask questions
Essential Experience and Skills:
• Strong knowledge of WordPress, copywriting and familiarity e-commerce platforms, with experience in website management and updates.
• Social media - Proven experience in managing and creating content for social media platforms (Primarily LinkedIn) and following/engaging with our target audience
• Graphics - Basic knowledge of graphic design/Photoshop would be good but is not essential.
• Creative flair coupled with a commercial mindset.
• Valid UK Driving Licence
What’s on offer:
• £25,000 - 35,000 salary
• 20 days holiday (exclusive of Bank holidays) rising by 1 day extra per year of service (up to 10 extra)
