Marketing Intern

An exciting opportunity have arisen for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join this prestigious companies marketing team as an Intern This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience of the full marketing mix from strategic planning through to range managements, product development and marketing communications.

You will work within a busy marketing team, alongside talented designers, commercial product developers and creative digital and trade marketeers assisting the team to deliver business critical projects across an exciting and market leading portfolio of award winning craft food and craft alcohol brands,

This position isn't a hybrid role and you would need to be in the office for 5 days a week. This position is from April 2024 - August 2024.

Duties and responsibilities

• Market and competitor research in food and drink category
• Preparing samples for customers and sales team members
• Assisting in creating social media content across our portfolio of brands
• Researching and testing recipes for product usage
• Assist in the creation and implementation of trade marketing asset packs
• Provide administrative assistance to the marketing team
• Assist in the strategic planning of marketing campaigns – from research, trend analysis, competitor benchmarking, presentation packs
• Assist in preparation and the setup of photoshoots internally and externally
• Upload new products onto website via Wordpress including all assets and product copy
• Upload product promotions and price changes on the website
• Provide general day to day assistance enable smooth running of projects through the team

Skills and experience

• Excellent communication skills; liaising, establishing, and maintaining positive links with a range of people by telephone, email and in person.
• Observe and define own priorities and timetables to achieve Enjoys a fast-paced commercial environment
• Dependable and trustworthy, always committing to doing what you say you will do
• Someone who is resilient, thrives on change and looks for continuous improvement in all that they do
