Location: Chadderton, Oldham, OL9 9RH

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 basic salary

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:30pm, finish at 4pm on a Friday.

We have exciting new opportunity at Octane Recruitment. This is a brand-new opportunity within the company created to give more exposure to the company from a candidate and client perspective.

All in order to maximise engagement with candidates and clients within our target market. Brand Development, control / improve all external communications and reputation management.

Marketing Manager role

• Working closely with the Senior Team within Octane Recruitment we are looking for someone to develop and action a marketing strategy across all medias within the company.
• Planning, developing and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns, including via the CRM and outreach campaigns.
• Using the full marketing mix for the company's marketing communications (direct mail, advertising, social media, events, campaigns)
• Writing copy for some marketing collateral, including brochures, letters, emails and websites.
• Providing a useful style guide for colleagues for the bits of content they originate.
• Monitoring ongoing campaign spend against the budget, keeping accurate records and highlighting where variances occur.
• Producing an accurate summary of total spend at the end of a marketing campaign.
• Undertaking detailed ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met.
• Assisting in the production of ongoing competitor analysis and reporting, with particular reference to pricing, presentation and promotion.
• Support Sales staff occasionally on presentations and events, and with collateral for presentations.
• Ensure a thorough understanding of our customer profiles and behaviours, and brand values
• Maintain oversight of all external communication for quality and brand consistency. This includes job adverts, social media, eshots
• Ensure all marketing activity is GDPR compliant.
• Advise on improvements required.
• Manage website hosting, content, SEO and specialist suppliers.
• Communication with Sales leaders and translation of their aims into marketing collateral.
• Maintain and execute a marketing calendar that covers all channels and reflects industry events, national events and facilitates sales campaigns. Aim is c.20% of posts to be "behind the scenes".

Marketing Manager requirements

• Degree in Marketing would be an advantage as would CIM qualification.
• Previous experience in a similar role, hands on rather than purely advisory.
• Recruitment industry experience would be a huge advantage!
• Strong project management/organisational skills.
• Ability to use spreadsheets to analyse data and spot trends.
• Understanding of customer segmentation.
• Excellent written communication
• Project planning skills
• Proactive approach
• Good understanding of novel marketing platforms and technology.
• Able to understand the dynamics of recruitment sales, how profitability is achieved and the context in which clients/candidates work.
