Job Title:Marketing Manager
Location: Wickford, on-site
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 DOE

Please note: This role is based 5 days on-site so you must live within a commutable distance to Basildon and be happy to work on-site, unfortunately there is no flexibility on this. You must also have the relevant experience and minimum 4 years' working in a similar role.

Our client has built a strong foundation through organic growth and word-of-mouth. As they prepare to launch new products and expand their services, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to drive their marketing efforts and help them reach new heights.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and versatile Marketing Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance online presence, generate leads, and increase revenue. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including website development, social media management, lead generation, email marketing, content creation, copywriting, SEO, and ideally PPC.

The business has no marketing function as of yet, so this is an exciting opportunity for someone to come in, have full autonomy over the growth and development of the team and really be able to implement your vision, from building the website, creating content to getting them started on social media.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development:

• Build and maintain an engaging and user-friendly website.
• Ensure the website is optimized for SEO and conversion rates.

Social Media Management:

• Develop and execute a robust social media strategy.
• Manage and grow our social media presence across various platforms.

Lead Generation:

• Implement effective lead generation strategies to attract and convert potential customers.
• Monitor and analyze lead generation metrics to optimize performance.

Email Marketing:

• Create and manage email marketing campaigns.
• Develop compelling email content and monitor campaign performance.

Content Creation & Copywriting:

• Produce high-quality content for the website, social media, blogs, and other marketing channels.
• Write persuasive and engaging copy to drive conversions and brand awareness.

SEO & PPC:

• Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
• Ideally, manage PPC campaigns to maximize ROI and reach.

B2B and B2C Marketing:

• Craft marketing strategies tailored to both B2B and B2C audiences.
• Understand the nuances and requirements of both market segments.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role.
• Strong expertise in website development, social media management, lead generation, email marketing, content creation, and copywriting.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices and PPC management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
• Creative thinker with a passion for marketing and growth.
• Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems is a plus.
