A Marketing Manager is required to support our Buildings + Places (B+P) business line in Europe & India. This role is responsible for initiating, designing, leading, and delivering marketing campaign activity to support both brand and growth objectives for the business line’s Social Infrastructure market sector. Social infrastructure, including schools, colleges, universities, hospitals, healthcare facilities, centres for public safety and justice and sports venues underpin our communities. Importantly they can also help to address many of the global challenges that we're facing today as a society and unlock social value. We act as trusted advisors, providing strategic consultancy across a range of services including master planning and urban design, architecture, sustainability and resilience, digital and technology solutions to deliver solutions for our clients and the communities we serve.
TheMarketing Managerwill work closely with colleagues across the business to deliver an integrated marketing and communications strategy aligned with commercial goals. This will include a program of activities focused on building brand awareness, winning work and enhancing client relationships. The Marketing Manager will be expected to work collaboratively with the market sector leadership team, B+P Europe & India leadership team, Europe & India marketing and communications team and Client Account Managers (CAM) community as well as other key internal stakeholders to champion the voice of the client. They will also be responsible for managing appropriate marketing and messaging strategies to support prepositioning for key pursuits in the Social Infrastructure sectors.
Role Responsibilities:
The Marketing Manager, supporting the B+P business line, will be part of the Europe & India marketing team of 30+ professionals and will liaise with business development leaders, operations, and regional teams. Under the guidance of the B+P Marketing Lead, the main responsibilities will include:
· Define and create strong relationships with Buildings + Places (B+P) business, Social Infrastructure market sector and functional stakeholders to optimise outcomes of campaigns
· Develop marketing plans for each campaign (using SOSTAC) – clear objectives, target audience, tactics, owners, and control, including timeline for contributors to work with
· Share marketing plan with region’s marketing and communications leadership team, Business Line Strategy and Growth lead and leadership teams.
· Develop bespoke campaigns for the region – aligned to Business Line growth objectives
· Provide information on marketing activity and campaign performance to the Strategic Marketing lead for monthly marketing and communications report.
· Work alongside the Content and Thought Leadership team to define the campaign messaging and content plan including diversity of formats
· Work alongside the Creative team to optimise audience engagement
· Identify and conduct market research on trends and competitors to inform both AECOM’s value proposition, narrative and evidence
· Ensure effective follow up on campaigns via business owners and adopt effective measurement tools including Google Analytics.
· Analyse campaign data and respond accordingly throughout the delivery of a campaign
· Manage calendar/timeline of integrated multi-channel tactics including conferences, client events, awards, social media, thought leadership and editorial activities, including budgetary requirements and KPI reporting
· Schedule, write and track social media content on the most appropriate handles to support both strategic initiatives and ad hoc requests
· Manage events, both in-person and virtual, overseeing invites, booking, invoices, collateral requirements, and attendee briefings
· Source and write various forms of targeted content including award entries, case studies, blogs, client presentations and emails aligned to brand messaging which support our campaigns.
