The role
We’re looking for an experienced Exhibition Marketing Manager to lead the marketing campaigns for European events in their Energy portfolio.
Your responsibility entails raising awareness of our events, cultivating leads for the sales team, and facilitating direct visitor registrations. Achieving these objectives will involve leveraging a diverse array of marketing channels, including email, web, digital advertising, social media, partnerships, content marketing, direct sales, and occasionally traditional press advertising.
All require a lot of research, planning, execution and analysis.
You might find yourself orchestrating email campaigns one day, strategising social media posts the next, evaluating Google ad efficacy afterward, and negotiating partnerships with associations or media entities thereafter. Organisation is key! You must also possess the ability to orchestrate the efforts of those around you, including providing guidance to a Marketing Executive. Collaboration with our client’s Performance Marketing Manager is integral to executing sophisticated digital advertising campaigns that drive visitor registrations.
You must embody versatility and engage both your creative and analytical faculties. Creativity is essential: seeking innovative solutions, crafting compelling copy, and briefing designers. Likewise, analytical prowess is indispensable.
There is huge scope for this role to progress into a more senior position!
Who you are
- The kind of person we’re looking for should be ambitious, creative, analytical, and organised. The role is ideal for someone that is genuinely passionate about marketing, can write copy that sells, understands the role of different media and channels, and can bring their own expertise, having marketed B2B tradeshows of significant scale already (20,000+ attendees).
- 3-5 years year’s exhibition marketing experience, within large scale events/exhibitions.
- Man management advantageous, but not essential.
