Term: 12 month fixed term with a possibility to extend to permanent
Reports to: Director, Account Managers
Salary: circa. £25,000
Purpose of the job: To assist the work of the Directors and Account Managers in planning, implementing and evaluating targeted public relations, social media and marketing campaigns, across print, digital and broadcast. Project management and assisting with consortia management.
Person Specification:
- University degree in communications or related subject preferred - or relevant post graduate/professional qualification
Experience/skills needed:
- At least 2 years' experience of working in a marketing/communications/client-focused environment
- Experience or knowledge of the tourism/hospitality/cultural sectors is desirable
- Proven ability as a writer across various media is essential
- Knowledge of social media platforms, CMS systems and e-marketing tools is essential
- Ability to deal confidently with clients, media and suppliers
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and tasks
- Ability to work quickly and manage multiple projects at once
