Highly renowned global consumer goods organisation seeks a Marketing Procurement Category Lead to join their rapidly growing procurement function.

As they embark upon a large transformation, this is an excellent opportunity to help shape the future of the marketing category, creating a lasting legacy within a household brand. The company themselves are at the forefront of innovation within their industry meaning all projects will have great variation and test the skills of all involved.

As Marketing Procurement Category Lead, you will: -

• Designing and implement innovative category and sourcing strategies for Digital, Creative, Sponsorship, PR, Print, POS, Design, Meetings and Events sub-categories (all of which are £ Multi-Million) across EMEA
• Be responsible for the end-to-end strategic sourcing process, from choosing high-profile global suppliers to managing the long-term relationships, providing the best possible value for the company.
• Manage Senior level stakeholder relationships from across the business on a day-to-day basis building relationships which will help build your long-term procurement career.
• Management of a direct report

Marketing Procurement Category Manager required background: -

• Strong indirect procurement experience with a recent focus on Marketing Procurement
• Experience in designing and implementing procurement process ideally within Blue-Chip Organisations
• Ability to work autonomously across a variety of projects and manage key stakeholder relationships.
• Strong Academic Profile (2.1 or above + CIPS preferred but not essential)
