Marketplace Sales Director

As a Marketplace Sales Director, you will strategically plan and execute initiatives to meet EMEA sales targets and expand our customer base. You will lead and develop sales team leaders across various functions to exceed sales goals and prioritise a Customer First Culture. Ensuring world-class customer service, identifying new market opportunities using data, and managing sales metrics and budgets are central to my responsibilities. You will optimise operational processes to meet customer needs and collaborate with other departments to drive strategic initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for the whole EMEA region, not only for the UK. Occasional travel for tradeshows and regional office duties is required.

Marketplace Sales Director Requirements:

* Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or in related field
* Proven experience in a similar leadership role, ideally in a technical industry, such as photonics, electronics or physics
* Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of B2B sales processes and customer dynamics
* Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
