We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutor to join our maths and science team. As a Tutor, you will work closely with students to provide academic support and guidance in a subject of choice. Your role will involve assessing students' needs, developing personalized learning plans, and delivering engaging lessons to help them achieve their educational goals.
Duties:
- Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to identify areas for improvement
- Develop personalized learning plans based on individual student needs
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions
- Deliver engaging lessons and instructional materials to enhance student understanding
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on student performance
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to support student learning
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous educational or tutoring experience is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively educate and engage students of different ages and abilities
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple students and tasks
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a positive learning environment
This is a paid position. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
