Are you a passionate and dedicated Mathematics teacher with a strong commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs?
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated mathematics lessons to meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and enhances students' confidence in their mathematical abilities.
- Assess, track, and report on students' progress, collaborating with other educators and support staff to implement tailored interventions where necessary.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
- Work collaboratively with the SENCO and other professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans for students with SEN.
- Maintain a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere that promotes a love for learning and personal growth.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Mathematics Education.
- Experience teaching mathematics to students with Special Educational Needs is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
- Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students with SEN and a commitment to their holistic development.
