Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support students during meal times, ensuring a positive and orderly dining experience.
- Promote good manners and healthy eating habits among students.
- Monitor student behavior and intervene when necessary to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of dining areas, including sanitizing surfaces and ensuring cleanliness.
- Engage with students in a friendly and approachable manner, building positive relationships.
- Collaborate with school staff to address any dietary or special requirements of students.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents/guardians, and other stakeholders as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with basic health and safety practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students' well-being.
- Adaptability and flexibility to respond to the needs of students and the school environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive school environment.
- Must possess a valid DBS check and have the right to work in the UK.
