We are currently working alongside one of N.I.’s fasted growing manufacturing companies. Due to continued success and growth, they are looking to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to their team. The right candidate can be based in their site in Dungannon or Hillsborough.

The role requires you to manage multiple design projects, producing concept ideas and drawings, through full design approval and on to deliver full manufacture drawings and Bill of Materials for the company’s current product range

Responsibilities

• Research, read and understand all applicable internal and external specification and legislative requirements
• Produce 3D designs and manufacturing drawings to support company product range
• Produce engineering calculation and analysis as required for demonstrable compliance with equipment specification
• Integrate complex hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems into the Mechanical Design.

Personal Specification

• Previous experience of working in an engineering capacity or similar role
• Educated in a Mechanical/Technical discipline
• Experience with Design Software such as Solidworks
• Problem Solving - Ability to fault find, trouble shoot, diagnose and resolve issues
