In this role, you'll have the opportunity to maintain, refurbish, and install a variety of mechanical equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, centrifuges, and rotating machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, refurbish, and install various types of mechanical equipment
- Perform fault-finding and rectify issues promptly on pumps, valves, and associated pipework
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to health and safety, including RAMS and COSHH assessments
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment, communicating clearly and positively
Requirements:
- Completed a recognized apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in welding, machining, and familiarity with the clean and wastewater industry (advantageous)
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards work
- Safety passport or equivalent certification required; confined space ticket and water hygiene and DOMS cards advantageous
- Full UK driving license preferred; willingness to travel up to 25% (preferred)
