About Our Client
Our client is a well-established FMCG company with around 100 employees onsite in Derbyshire. The company have a global presence.
Job Description
- Perform regular inspections on FMCG production machinery and systems.
- Carry out necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks.
- Troubleshoot complex issues.
- Implement innovative solutions to enhance machinery efficiency.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Keep an accurate record of all maintenance work done.
- Assist in the training of other team members where necessary.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
- Relevant maintenance qualifications, preferable NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Proficiency in handling FMCG machinery.
- Previously carried out mechanical repairs, fabrication and ball strips.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to machine maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the engineering and manufacturing industry.
