Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with experience in a manufacturing environment, looking for a role offering Training on Electrical to progress your career within a local business that values it's employees ongoing development?

In this role you will be maintaining a range of mechanical machinery in a chemical manufacturing facility alongside a team of Engineers. You will receive in-depth training, working with senior Engineers to upskill and train on the specific machinery as well as electrical systems. The shift pattern consists of week days and rotates every 2 weeks between earlies (6am-2pm) and lates (2pm-10pm). There is also plenty of optional overtime available on weekends.

This company develop, manufacture and sell a range of bespoke chemical solutions used within the cleaning industry. They do all of this in-house at their state-of-the-art facility in Buxton that consists of a research lab, office space and manufacturing facility. They are going through a period of rapid growth off the back of the pandemic and have recently started to export internationally.

This role would suit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer from a Manufacturing or similar background looking for Training on Electrical and career development opportunities for a stable, growing company.

The Role:

• PPM and Reactive maintenance of mechanical machinery
• Fabricating parts and welding
• Training on Electrical Maintenance
• Fortnightly shift rotation of Early (6am - 2pm) and Lates (2pm - 10pm)

The Person:

• Mechanically Biased Engineer
• Manufacturing or industrial background
